TM1000 Turbine Power Generation System
1MW Natural Gas / CNG Fuel Unit
Turbine Marine's 1MW (TM1000 kW) Generator Set is based on well-known, time-proven technology and components, together with a state-of-the-art operating system, that operates in real time while providing true deterministic control.
This system is designed to operate using gaseous fuel or optional liquid fuels, and the unit sub-assemblies
are modularized for quick installation and come fully tested.
4 Main Components
The 1MW Natural gas unit is comprised of 4 main components:
Prime Mover / Engine
One of the major components of the system, sometimes referred to as the Prime Mover, is a highly modified Turbine Marine turbine engine (TM1500).
Electric Generator
This generator is designed for easy installation, minimum operating vibrations and rapid response to widely varying electrical loads.
Gear Box
A high-speed gearbox was specifically designed and manufactured to a 3.317:1 nominal gear ratio, with 1000 kW production at 5,971 RPM input, 1800 RPM output.
Control System
The electronic engine Control System provides complete turbine and package control including starting, alarming, shutdown, and engine fuel. A large, color touch-screen Operator Interface Terminal provides real-time and historical information to the operator in a convnient, easy to use format.
